We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and it is like any other highly competitive high school extracurricular activity and requires commitment, dedication, time, and energy. Each team competes in several events with the possibility of qualifying for State level competitions and beyond.
Through this club and competitions, club members have hand-on experience in engineering, fabrication, programming, web design, photography, presentations, writing, marketing, business processes, and much more.
Club Mission & Purpose
- Design, build, program, and share robots
- Participate in competition-level events, including, but not limited to, FIRST Tech Challenge
- Build and share professional skills necessary to success in STEM-related fields
- Contribute to our community through service, teaching, leadership, and inspiration
We are led by student officers elected by club members in good standing. Elections are held annually in November. All ages and experiences levels are welcome to join or run for club office!
